Company Profile
Company Kvant s.r.o. was established in 1995. During its existence the company has achieved significant success in development and production of its own products as well as in distribution of technical devices to different areas of science, research, industry and education. The company has carried several awards at the exhibitions. Company exports more than a half of its production to more than 50 countries all around the world.
Since 2004 has the company introduced the system ISO 9001:2000.

LASERS AND LASER SYSTEMS
This very wide field, which has recently made significat development mainly thanks to new technologies in semiconducting technique includes:

DEPARTMENT OF DIDACTIC EQUIPMENT
This department is developing and manufacturing didactic aids mainly for physics and technical fields at all levels of schools as well as for other educational institutes (www.forschool.eu). Most of these products are popular world-wide and delivered through whole-world and local distributors to the countries all over the world.
Within the Slovak republic besides our products we resell didactic aids covering fields of chemistry, biology, geography, history and others. DEPARTMENT OF SPECIAL SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE

DEPARTMENT OF OPTICAL DEVICES AND IMAGE PROCESSING
This department supplies customers with microscopes, microtomes, cameras, lenses, light sources and various optical devices and components. It is also possible to project special optics according to customers’ requirements not only in the sphere of visible light, but also in the sphere of close and far infra-red spectrum and to observe optical signal with various optical detectors and their evaluation. The most intersting at the presence is CCD cameras shooting and its evaluation by means of PC systems. Delivered are also components for digital image processing, i.e.: digital cameras with high resolution, high-speed cameras, and thermovision high-speed cameras, optical components according to customers’ requirements, precision mechanic components etc. More information and an offer can be found on www.mikroskopy.sk, www.optika.sk, www.kamery.sk.
